Fill in any applicable information, then grab what you need from the tabs below.
Cmd/Ctrl + V). The logo and formatting come through.Works the same in Safari or Chrome, on a Mac or a PC.
Apple Mail rewrites anything you paste into a signature, which is why a pasted logo can come in oversized. Installing it as HTML avoids that and gives a clean stacked layout that stays put. There’s a simpler drag method at the bottom if you’d rather not edit a file.
Your Apple Mail signature code
Install it (one time)
Cmd + Q).Cmd + Shift + G and go to ~/Library/Mail/. Open the folder named V with the highest number (for example V10), then MailData, then Signatures..mailsignature that you just made (sort by Date Modified; it’s the newest). Open it with TextEdit.Cmd + I, and check Locked so Mail doesn’t overwrite it.If it doesn’t stick, iCloud is probably syncing your Mail signatures. Turn off Mail in System Settings → Apple ID → iCloud, or just use the simple method below.
Simpler alternative (no file editing)
Set your signature up on a computer instead. When you send from Gmail on the web, your signature is applied automatically no matter which device you started on, and it’s far more reliable than the phone apps.
The Mail and Gmail apps on iPhone and iPad only allow plain-text signatures and won’t show the logo, so there’s nothing to gain by setting it up there. Do it once on a computer using the Gmail steps above and you’re covered.
